8 Opening Dates You Need to Know If You’re Going to Disney World in 2024

You’re almost there — your Disney World trip is this year!

Just like every other year, a lot is going on in Disney World right now, and more is on the way later this year. If you’re heading into the resort later on in 2024, here are some opening dates you need to know about!

Opening Dates

Typhoon Lagoon

If you’re looking to spend time in Disney World’s water parks, Typhoon Lagoon will be reopening on March 17th!

This is also when Blizzard Beach will be closing for refurbishment, so the two will trade places once again.

1900 Park Fare

After YEARS of being closed, 1900 Park Fare will finally be reopening on April 10th, 2024!

New look for the doors at 1900 Park Fare

This is an iconic character dining location found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. It’ll still be a buffet-style meal where you can meet multiple different characters, and we can expect more details to be revealed on March 5th.

We do know these 3 MASSIVE changes are coming to 1900 Park Fare!

New Cabins At Fort Wilderness

We also know new DVC cabins are coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort on July 1st, 2024.

Reservations for these cabins opened for existing DVC members on February 1st, and Disney Vacation Club Members who added on points at The Cabins can begin could book their stays starting on February 15th. Booking for the general public will open on February 27th.
