Are you up-to-date on the latest set of rules and tips for a Disney World vacation?

Disney World will NEVER stop changing and evolving, so the rules you lived by during your last visit may need a refresher. To keep up with all the changes that are constantly happening, our team visits Disney World every day and delivers YOU all the latest updates. During our visits, we’ve discovered a rule that you may have never heard of.
While there are plenty of written-out rules that Disney World enforces (like no running in the theme parks, there are others that are more subtle or unspoken — like being respectful to the people around you. There are also some rules that you might have never even thought of. In fact, we’re spilling the beans about one of them today!

Disney actually has two water parks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! While each offer their own set of attractions, pools, theming, and dining, they share one specific thing in common — beach towel rentals.

Sometimes packing for Disney can be a bit tough, and there isn’t room for extras like bulky beach towels. Luckily, you can rent towels at the water parks for $2 each! You can grab these rentals at the front of each water park in the main stores to use as needed throughout your day.

Even better, if you’re a Disney resort guest, you can get these towels for free! This is something we are sure several Disney resort guests don’t know, and it can save you quite a bit of money rather than purchasing the nice Mickey and Minnie towels. (If you want to buy them, we won’t judge, but we’re here to share that you don’t have to buy them.)

We’ve actually had to do this a few times when we’ve forgotten our towels, and it has been a lifesaver!
Keep in mind that the towels aren’t the best. They’re a bit small and thin, but they will really help in a pinch. This can be a great resource, especially if you’re utilizing the free entry perk.

On select days throughout the year, hotel guests get free entry to one of the water parks on check-in day if they’re staying at a Disney World hotel! This can be a great way to enjoy the park without paying and relax for a few hours before your Disney vacation really kicks off. And now, you know you don’t even need to worry about towels.

If you’re like us and can’t wait to cool off at the water parks this year, make sure you keep following us here at AllEars for all the latest water park updates, as well as more Disney secrets and rules!
