March is gearing up to be an exciting month for Disney fanatics!
If you consider yourself a Disney Adult or are familiar with the Disney fandom, you are no doubt familiar with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. Named in honor of the year Walt Disney opened his first studio (1923), D23 offers members special experiences to connect with the Disney brand. In fact, D23 members are in store for a plethora of opportunities coming up in March!
In case you didn’t know, 2024 is a big year for D23! The Official Disney Fan Club is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and it will be partaking in Member Appreciation Month this March!
According to an official D23 press release, “D23 will share exclusive offers, fun downloads to showcase the beloved fandoms of The Walt Disney Company, and a truly magical sweepstakes. D23 Gold Members will be able to flaunt their fandom with brand-new exclusive merchandise that features some fan-favorite characters.” The Disney twenty-three Spring 2024 issue will also include a 15th-anniversary commemorative magnet for D23 Gold Members and D23 Charter Members.
Member Appreciation Month isn’t just limited to merchandise and sweepstakes. On March 10th, 2024, Disney World will host a 15th Anniversary event exclusive for Gold Members where guests get special access to Splitsville Luxury Lanes, games, festive food, photo spots, and specialty merchandise. March is also the month when fans can start purchasing tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim this August. The event is Disney’s biggest convention of the year and insanely popular among the Disney fandom. Tickets and event information can be found here.
Additionally, D23 will welcome guests to The Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, Calif. for studio tours in March and April as well as a 15th-anniversary special screening of The Princess and the Frog (2009) on March 23rd, 2024. The event will include a “D23 ‘Dreams Do Come True’ Grand Finale event at The New Orleans Jazz Museum featuring an exclusive reception, themed photo opportunities, live jazz performances, and a commemorative gift.”
