The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is one of the best times of the year in Disney World!

The park gets decorated with stunning topiaries and floral displays, and food booths have menus filled with plant-inspired eats. This year, the festival starts on February 28th and runs until May 27th. And along with the regular offerings, there’s a fun ride overlay to check out!
Living with the Land in EPCOT often gets lightly decorated for each festival (except for the Festival of the Holidays, where Disney goes ALL OUT with the overlay!), but there’s a surprise this time around. The Flower & Garden Festival overlay is Winnie the Pooh-themed!

A few different setups throughout the ride with props make it feel like you’re taking a picnic with Pooh and friends. We even spotted some honey jars! Excuse us, that’s HUNNY.

It’s not a super overt overlay — certainly not like the holiday version of the ride. But you can also spot a few ingredients used in festival dishes on display as well.

The festival doesn’t officially start for a couple of days, so it’s possible that Disney could beef up the overlay a little bit before then.

Living with the Land is a slow-moving boat ride that takes you through the greenhouses at EPCOT, teaching you about various farming techniques that Disney uses to grow food for the parks. If you’ve got a gardener in your group, it’s a must-do!

Do you ride Living with the Land when you visit EPCOT? Tell us in the comments!
We always ride Living With The Land and enjoy it. When we were at Epcot in December, the Land was extremely popular. It shows how desperate people are to see something new and bright-reminiscent of the Osborne Holiday Lights. So yes, add whatever sparkle you can to the Land. The Christmas display was designed beautifully. Transforming to 100 Acre Woods would be very charming indeed
Agreed. Living with the Land has always been a favorite, but more so in 2022 when they rolled out the Christmas lights. In 2023 they added even more decorations and lights. Its just another one of those things that have you thinking “Why didn’t they think of doing this years ago?”
We will be there in March/April so looking forward to checking this out.
