Your options for transportation around Disney World have just expanded!

From buses to boats to Monorails, and everything in between, there are tons of different transportation options around Disney World. And we’ve got news about four huge transportation changes from this week, including even more ways to make your way around the resort!
Here are four major transportation updates that hit Disney World this week.
Brightline Train to Orlando International Airport
As of September 22nd, the Brightline Train Station at Orlando International Airport (MCO) is officially open.

We’ve been tracking the construction of this project for years, and now that the station is officially open, it offers service between the Orlando Airport and Miami, with stops in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura along the way.

Tickets for the route can now be purchased online if you’d like to check out this new option for travel between several major Florida cities.

Parking Lot Trams at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
When the Disney World parks reopened following the 2020 closures, one change that many guests were less than thrilled about was the lack of trams to help guests get from the massive parking lots to the park entrances.

Magic Kingdom was the first Disney World park to get its trams back in late 2021, followed by Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2022. And earlier this week, parking lot trams also returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Great news for anyone who has been awaiting the return of this service to the other Disney World parks!
A Disney World Transportation Problem Has ENDED
Parking Lot Trams at EPCOT
Wondering about those coveted trams in the EPCOT parking lot? Well don’t worry, because trams also resumed service in the EPCOT parking lot this week!

That means all four Disney World parks now have parking lot tram service available once again for the first time since the 2020 closures.

Encanto Skyliner Wrap
Earlier this month, the Mirabel meet-and-greet officially opened in Magic Kingdom. But that’s not the only love Encanto has gotten around the parks.

Some of the Disney Skyliner gondolas have now received a makeover in the form of a new Encanto-themed wrap.

Be on the lookout for the Madrigal family the next time you go for a ride on the Skyliner.
