PHOTOS & VIDEOs: Disney World’s Parking Trams Have Returned!

It’s been over a year since Disney World closed due to the global health crisis. And now, even over a year after reopening, there are still things at the resort that haven’t returned.

They’re back!

But today, we’re happy to report that something we’ve REALLY wanted to return has finally made its official comeback. That’s right, we’re talking about the parking trams!

Earlier this month, Disney Parks announced that parking trams would return to Magic Kingdom later this month and to the other parks in early 2022.  And Disney was testing those parking trams a few weeks ago. Well, today, while at the Ticket and Transportation Center (which is where you have to park for Magic Kingdom), we saw the parking trams in operation again. They’re back!

Have you seen a more beautiful sight?

The parking lot at the Ticket and Transportation Center is HUGE, which means there’s often a long hike to and from where you park to where you catch transportation to Magic Kingdom. This is why we once rated this parking lot as the one that’s worst without the trams.

Wait Here…

So having the parking trams back is a huge relief to guests’ feet, especially after a long day hiking all over Magic Kingdom.

So if you’re visiting Disney World with a car, you can now park at the Ticket and Transportation Center and then catch a tram nearby to get to Magic Kingdom transportation.

Which is exactly what we did today.

And we’re off!

Also, we’ll let you know when the parking trams return to the other parks, so keep checking back with us often!
