Another new transportation option has arrived at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) today.

We’ve been following the progress of the Brightline train ever since it was first announced. And even though the route of the train and the location of the stations have changed a few times, one thing has remained constant — the addition of a train station at MCO. After a long process of construction, that station finally opens today.

As of September 22nd, you can officially hop aboard a Brightline train at MCO’s station and ride all the way south to Miami. Along the way, there are stops in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura.

Tickets for these rides can be purchased online now. There are multiple ticket types to choose from, depending on your travel needs.

Currently, the Orlando International Airport station is as far as Brightline goes. However, a second station has been planned for the Central Florida area, and the route should eventually connect to Tampa.
