Here's ANOTHER Reason to Get Excited About Disney's 'Hocus Pocus 2'

Are you ready to run amuck, amuck, amuck again? We’ve been excited ever since Disney confirmed that a Hocus Pocus sequel was in the works for Disney+.

We’re now even more excited because the debut of the movie is just about a month away. That means we’ve got a trailer and some sneak peeks of what’s in store, including a NEW photo of everyone’s favorite zombie.

That’s right — actor Doug Jones is reprising his role as Billy Butcherson in the sequel! Entertainment Weekly just released a first look photo at Billy in the movie, who is looking as frightful as ever.

For anyone worrying about the sequel living up to the original movie, Jones shared some comments that should calm fans. “It is seamless between the first movie and the second, that’s the first thing I felt,” he said. “It keeps the pureness and nostalgia alive and well for those who grew up with the first movie, and for any new fans we’re gathering now will be excited about modernization for the current time we’re in.”

Jones also hinted that fans of the original movie will finally get to see a little of the history of how he and Winifred knew each other before she poisoned him way back in the day for cheating on her with Sarah.

Hocus Pocus premieres on Disney+ on September 30th — so be sure to mark those calendars. Because that’s the night we fly!
