A Disney World Transportation Problem Has ENDED

We’ve got great news to share!

Disney Springs

With so many ways to get around the Disney World hotels and parks, it’s hard to imagine operating without the skyliner, monorail, and ferryboats. However, that’s been a reality for a popular Disney World transportation recently…until now!

If you’ve recently traveled to Disney Springs between your hotel and the shopping district, depending on where you’ve been staying the past few days, you may have had to modify how you planned to get there. Don’t worry though, that’s about to get easier for you!

Disney Springs

The Sassagoula Steamboat Co. riverboats that float between the hotels that surround Disney Springs are now back in operation!

They’re open!

They’ve been (briefly) closed for the past few days but now you’ve got an opportunity to take the more scenic route in and out. A Cast Member informed us that the Sassagoula River Boats wouldn’t be running from September 28th to 30th while Disney works on repairing the retaining wall by the bridge.

These boats typically make stops at hotels like Saratoga Springs, Old Key West Resort, and both Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter due to their close proximity.

All aboard

When the boat routes are closed, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re cut off from accessing Disney Springs, it just means you may need to take a different way to get there like by bus, rideshare, walking, or driving your own vehicle.

Disney public transportation is free!

We’re excited to see these safely reopen once again and usher people to and from their shopping, dining, and nighttime activities. As always, be sure to check back in with us for the latest Disney updates and changes here at AllEars.
