See the NEW 100th Anniversary Spaceship Earth Update in EPCOT!

The time has come — The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th Anniversary, and now the party is moving from the West Coast to EPCOT! Who’s ready for a NEW nighttime spectacle?

Over in EPCOT, the celebration is just getting started! Look out for quite a few new additions coming to the park for the occasion, like some 100th Anniversary-themed character meet-and-greets, a new nighttime fireworks show, and a NEW platinum statue of Mickey Mouse. Now, ready for one of our FAVORITE new additions?

Spaceship Earth is getting in on the 100th Anniversary festivities! In fact, that giant EPCOT park icon will now light up the night with a special new lightning design in honor of Disney100.

These special lights on Spaceship Earth first arrived as part of the 50th Anniversary Beacons of Magic show in EPCOT, but (luckily) the lights stuck around after the 50th Anniversary celebration!

The new show features bright colors and a new Disney100 anthem — a unique rendition of “When You Wish Upon a Star.” Yeah, this is going to be a fan favorite; we can already tell!
