The ONLY List You Need To See for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World

Can you believe it? The Halloween season officially kicked off at Walt Disney World!

Halloween is on the way at Magic Kingdom

Decorations are up and merchandise has arrived in the gift shops, and we’re in full-blown spooky season. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is currently happening on certain nights and there’s one thing you NEED to know for the party!

This year, the Halloween party started on August 11th and runs on select nights through November 1st. We were there on the first night to see all that the event has to offer, so we’ve got the scoop on one of the BEST things MNSSHP has to do.

It’s coming soon!

One of the best things about MNSSHP is that you can go trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom — and it’s not just for those in costumes or the little ones, it’s for all ages! Each year, there are trick-or-treating locations set up around the park denoted by giant inflatable markers.

Disney has a partnership with Mars-Wrigley, so we typically get candy like M&Ms and Snickers bars. Each guest of the party also gets a complimentary candy bag for the night.

Sometimes they even hand out large candy at the entrance!

And if you’re eager to start planning your candy strategy, we have good news! Disney has released the list of trick-or-treat locations for MNSSHP.  Here’s the full set of locations:

  • Market street welcome
  • Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
  • Tortuga Tavern
  • Tom Sawyer Island Dock
  • Country Bear Jamboree
  • Columbia Harbour House
  • Mickey’s PhilharMagic
  • Pinocchio Village Haus
  • Gaston’s Tavern
  • Ariel’s Grotto
  • Near the entrance of Tomorrowland Launch Depot
  • Carousel of Progress
  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

For those who need allergy-friendly treats, there are two additional locations where you can get snacks — at the Liberty Square Ticket Office and at the Chamber of Commerce.

There are a few things to know about this list as it compares to years past. First of all, the Splash Mountain and Fantasyland Railroad Station locations have been removed, and replaced with the Tomorrowland Launch Depot and Gaston’s Tavern locations. Also, the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor location is typically a mix between a show overlay and a candy stop, so we highly recommend checking that one out!
