Things You Forgot About The Fireworks Shows Returning To Disney World

With a new year well underway, and with new celebrations beginning at Disney World, two nighttime spectaculars are changing VERY soon.

It was announced at the D23 Expo in 2022 that ‘Happily Ever After’ would return to Magic Kingdom and ‘EPCOT Forever’ would return to EPCOT, replacing the current shows — ‘Enchantment’ and ‘Harmonious’. We have ALL the details here, and we’re so excited for these fan-favorite spectaculars to return.

Happily Ever After

Happily Ever After will return to Magic Kingdom on April 3rd, 2023! The current nighttime spectacular, Disney Enchantment will continue to be offered through April 2nd, 2023.

Happily Ever After

ALL NEW elements of this show will debut, including new projections down Main Street, U.S.A. These will be similar to the features introduced with Enchantment.

Happily Ever After will begin at 9PM each night, so make sure to grab your seats early! We can expect the first few showings to be extremely crowded, as this show has been missed by Disney fans for three years now! EPCOT Forever

EPCOT Forever will also return on April 3rd, 2023! This show ended in 2021 to make way for Harmonious, which will end on April 2nd, 2023. Yes, this is the show that brought the infamous barges to World Showcase Lagoon.

EPCOT Forever

While we’re excited about the return of EPCOT Forever, even more excitement is to come! Disney has shared that EPCOT Forever is only serving as an interim show as EPCOT prepares for an all new nighttime spectacular that would come to the park at some point in 2023.

Disney also shared that there will be a “phased removal” of the fireworks platforms and barges after the last show of Harmonious on April 2nd.

Like Happily Ever After, EPCOT Forever will begin at 9PM each night. There’s really no bad place in the park to watch EPCOT’s nighttime spectaculars, as you can gather around World Showcase Lagoon to view the shows.
