It’s time for another construction update on one of EPCOT’s most anticipated new attractions!
Construction overall around Disney World is moving along as the park prepares for multiple attractions to open (hopefully) later this year. So it’s time to take another look at how Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is coming along!
We’re still waiting to see pavement on the second half of the attraction, but the area is certainly looking very green!
However, behind the attraction, a new path has been made, AND the cement wall behind the attraction has grown taller.
Here’s the biggest new addition though — there’s a new canopy above part of the attraction like the one from the concept art!
This is the only canopy we’ve seen so far, and we’re curious to see if more will join it. The palm trees are also looking beautiful, and the attraction overall is really coming to life.
If you wanna see some more construction progress, TRON Lightcycle / Run is quickly approaching its opening date, so LOTS is happening over there. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney construction news!
