If there’s one thing we love about EPCOT (do we have to pick just one thing?!) it’s that there are so many fun festivals for guests to enjoy throughout the year.
Right now we’re in the midst of the Flower and Garden Festival, and before that, we were taking in all the sights, smells, and tastes of the Festival of the Arts following the 2021 Festival of the Holidays. The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is perhaps the most well-known and popular one out of the bunch, and it looks like one World Showcase attraction is closing, likely to make room for one of the Food and Wine booths.
Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 will be closing this summer beginning June 27th, according to the Disney World website.
In years past, we’ve seen this attraction close ahead of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival to make room for the Appleseed Orchard booth. Disney has not made any official announcements, but this could likely be the case again this year as the festival is scheduled to run from June 14th to November 19th, 2022.
The Disney World calendar has only been updated through June 30th, and Canada Far and Wide is still scheduled to be closed through then.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for additional updates on this attraction as well as any more info on the 2022 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars.

I was looking forward to seeing Canada Far and Wide on our visit to DW in October. I’m not happy about Disney closing a free attraction just to add more pay as you go food stalls. It’s always about money with Disney.
