PHOTOS: Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary Vault Collection Shop is OPEN

We’ve already taken a look at the new Vault Collection that Disney World released for the 50th Anniversary.

The collection has tons of items that bring back memories from Disney World’s past, like metal lunchboxes, t-shirts, trinkets, and more. We found it all at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs earlier this week, but now you can get it in Magic Kingdom as well. But the new location has more than just merchandise!

The Main Street Cinema, located on Main Street, U.S.A., in the Magic Kingdom, has transformed to house the Vault Collection merchandise.

This location has been the home of merchandise and Disney short fillms, and it even sold treats when its neighbor the Main Street Confectionery closed down for a while. Now it’s going to take guests back in time while they shop the new Vault Collection, surrounded by decorations and displays that celebrate Disney World’s history.

Heading in, you can take a look at the window display that shows some old photographs of Disney World back in the day.

There’s also a display case outside with a few of the items from the newest collection.

Over the entrance, there’s a colorful tapestry announcing the Disney World Vault Collection.

Around this space, you’ll find tons of the new items in the vintage collection. But don’t forget to look at all the displays and touches of history, too. Mr. Toad is front and center to greet guests as they come in!

 Mr. Toad (who you might know from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, an attraction that was replaced by The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in the Magic Kingdom) is holding his deed to Toad Hall.

There are more displays around the small shopping area, showing off some of the merchandise and celebrating past attractions at Disney World.

In the back, behind the cash registers, a movie screen is showing original footage of Disney World so you can bask in some nostalgia while you explore the new collection.

Don’t forget to look up, to see some of the best decorations here. There are streamers with old Disney World tickets hanging from the ceiling.

And in the center, surrounded by marquee lights, the ceiling is covered in a Disney World ticket-design wallpaper.
