There’s always something new happening with Disney!

So to get you fully up to date, let’s go over the BIGGEST news from this week, from Disney Parks and more!
Fireworks Are Coming Back!
It’s been over a year since we’ve seen firework shows at Disney Parks. This week, Disney announced that the fireworks shows will be returning to Disney World on July 1st and to Disneyland on July 4th!

At Disney World, you will be able to view the Happily Ever After show in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Forever at EPCOT. In Disneyland, you will be able to see Mickey’s Mix Magic.

Face Masks Are Now Optional in Most Parts of Disney World and Disneyland
This week, Disney announced that face masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated individuals indoors or outdoors in most areas of Disney World and Disneyland. Up until this change, masks were still required indoors.

While masks were already no longer required for anyone outdoors, Disney is requiring non vaccinated people to wear masks indoors. Masks are still required for everyone on all Disney transportation such as Disney buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is Reopening
Up until now, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has been partially opened with only the DVC rooms at Kidani Village. This week Disney announced that the entire resort will be reopening on August 26th, 2021.

Jambo House rooms opened up for booking on June 16, so reservations are available now!

Pre-Shows Are Starting to Come Back
Disney has been making a lot of changes to their health and safety regulations and this week we discovered that some ride pre-shows have returned! In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can once again watch the pre-show before riding Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

And in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you are now able to watch pre-show for Dinosaur, instead of just catching a glimpse while in line.
