Things are slowly starting to look a bit more normal at Disney World!

Throughout the past month, Disney has been reducing physical distancing in queues and on rides, and entertainment is slowly starting to return to the parks. And, now even pre-shows for rides are starting to roll again!
Today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we hopped into the line for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The line was back to being zig-zagged (and less distanced) indoors and, when we got to the end, we noticed that the pre-show is BACK!

When it was our turn to watch Mickey and Minnie’s short cartoon, Cast Members directed us inside with other guests asking us to fill in all available space. The distancing dots that used to be on the ground in the pre-show area are now gone, so everyone now fills in where they can.

Then it was showtime! The ride originally opened about a month before the parks shut down, so not many guests have been able to enjoy the pre-show until now.

And, once you learn all about the adventure that you’re about to go on, guests are funneled through the middle of the screen and into the cartoon to hop aboard the ride!

This is one of the first pre-shows that we’ve seen come back in Disney World, but we will continue to keep an eye out for more. In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and updates!

Have you ever seen the pre-show for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway? Let us know in the comments!
O not yet . I can’t wait until October 2021
Dinosaur in AK had the steal the Dino preshow back today as well.
This is awesome news!!! I hope they start bringing back all the pre-shows!!!! 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Nice. We do miss the stretching room at the Haunted Mansion. The preshows help retain the theme of the rides. I’ve never seen the preshow for some of the newer attractions. They were not having them in December 2020. Glad the magic is back!!!
