The Disney Park icons are getting a major glow-up for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations!

And, we’ve already started to see the transformations begin! Over at Magic Kingdom, some ~royal~ decorations have appeared on the side of Cinderella Castle and EPCOT is too cool for projections and is having custom lights installed ON Spaceship Earth! But, there’s one glow-up that we DIDN’T know about over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Over on Instagram, Zach Riddley (a Disney Imagineer) shared photos of new lighting being added to the Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Now, it will feel like a movie premiere night every night when you’re making your way down Hollywood Boulevard! The roofing features bright gold lighting and, perhaps the most exciting, is the return of spotlights that now span the nighttime sky.Â

Disney’s Hollywood Studios hasn’t really landed on one park icon since the removal of Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat, so it is exciting to see that both the Chinese Theater and Tower of Terror are getting the makeover they deserve! Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
