If you thought shopping in Disney World was already a blast, it’s about to get a whole lot better!

While we were in EPCOT today, we noticed that a brand new shopping feature was being offered for guests on their phones.
Although we’ve previously seen the feature pop up in Disneyland, today stores in Disney World are testing the new Mobile Checkout feature for merchandise!

Guests are able to access the site by scanning the QR code on the sign located at MouseGear…

…or find a Cast Member with a portable sign! While you’re there, you can use a Mobile Checkout bag, open your Disney World app, and start shopping.

We were able to snag the last Aladdin Wishable package at MouseGear, but they’re also available on shopDisney right now!

The QR Code should bring up a webpage where you are able to select your picks from inside the store and pay online! When you’ve found any items you want to take home with you, be sure to scan the barcode using your app and add it to your shopping bag.

Checking out is just as easy too! All you have to do is use the app’s tool to check out and show your exit QR code when you’re leaving through the designated mobile check-out exit. As you’re leaving, a Cast Member will be sure to check your receipt and bag to verify your purchase.

If this is the new future of shopping in person, we kind of love it! And, we’ll be sure to update you on the other experiences happening around the property too!
Take a look at the 5 new MagicBands we spotted on shopDisney today!
Will you be heading to Disney World to use the Mobile Check-out system soon? Let us know in the comments below!
