A kiss in front of Cinderella Castle, fireworks lighting up the night sky, and sweet smells filling the air —  finding romance at Walt Disney World is as easy as harmonizing with your loved one to “I See the Light.”

Although there are plenty of things to do during a special night out with your significant other in the World, there are a few unconventional romantic ideas that will make you feel just as in love as Mickey and Minnie.
Begin your tale as old as time in the Most Magical Place on Earth with these seven romantic activities to make your getaway a little more enchanting!

1) Stroll Around the World Showcase
Epcot’s World Showcase — complete with beautiful greenery, stunning pavilions, and a glittering lagoon — is a gorgeous destination for a late-night stroll through the Park. The picturesque location with the lights gleaming in the evening feels like a dream, especially when you’re holding hands with the person you love.
2) Take a Bike Ride
Hopping on one of Disney’s many wonderful attractions isn’t the only way to have some fun while you’re on vacation. At four Resorts, you can rent a two-person Surrey Bike for an hour. My personal favorite place to go on a biking adventure are at the BoardWalk Inn and Villas to look at the glowing lights of the Epcot-area Resorts, but you’ll also find surries at Port Orleans Resort, Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West.

3) Have Dinner and Dessert
It may seem like a typical date night going out to have some dinner and dessert, but, visiting a Disney World restaurant or dessert venue makes it even better. You can make an Advance Dining Reservation at Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion in Epcot to enjoy steak in the subtly-lit cellar, at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort for a 50s style soda shop, waterside at Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian Resort, or at California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort to watch the fireworks as you eat dinner.

Or head on over to Disney Springs to try one of their many restaurants. Spend one-on-one time with your special someone at places like The BOATHOUSE or Wine Bar George, and finish the night with dessert at the Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, chocolate treats at The Ganachery, and allergen-free sweets at Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC.

4) Catch a Movie — Outside
While cuddling up in a movie theater can be special, nothing says romance like watching a movie under the stars. At most of the Disney Resorts, you can watch a Disney film on an outdoor movie screen for free! (Tip: You don’t even have to be staying at that resort to attend!) Grab some blankets and lawn chairs to lounge on the courtyard’s grass, the beach’s sand, the pool’s deck, or wherever the Movies Under the Stars are having their showing that night. We think this calls for some serious snuggling, don’t you??

Speaking of a night under the stars…
5) Fireworks on the Beach
At the Polynesian Village Resort, you can lay on a towel or in one of the hammocks on the beach as you watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show in Magic Kingdom without having to worry about the crowds! There’s nothing like a quiet, peaceful night taking in a beautiful spectacle of colors with your significant other. And the Poly streams the music, too!

6) Sing, Dance, and Drink the Night Away
Open from 7PM until 2AM, the Dueling Pianos at Jellyrolls on the BoardWalk is great fun for guests 21-and-up! The live musicians not only play fan-favorite music, but they take requests from guests, too! Grab a drink from the venue’s fantastic bar, sing along to your favorite hits, and dance until the wee hours of the morning with your loved one.

7) Plan a Spa Treatment
Want to do something a little more relaxing? Unwind at the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin Hotel or Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian Resort and Saratoga Springs Resort with a couple’s massage! After 50 minutes or 80 minutes of bliss, chill out in the sauna or jacuzzi with your special someone.

Whether you’re wanting a relaxing night or an exciting adventure, these date ideas are sure to make you fall more in love with your significant other while you’re at Walt Disney World!
