Disney Pic of the Week – Hidden Mickeys

Focus on Disney World by Barrie Brewer

Funny that I should be the one to introduce this week’s Pic of the Week topic, Hidden Mickeys. I am the world’s worst hidden Mickey locator. I get really excited when I find some of the most obvious ones there are, like the plates on the shop door in Morocco and the hubcaps in Mickey’s garage in Toontown. I go onto Steve Barrett’s site and look at the photos that are posted and even with a description I still can’t see the darn thing! I’ve even had people point out Hidden Mickeys in my own photos that I didn’t know were there. I’m hopeless.

I found this Hidden Mickey in the Japan Koi pond in Epcot’s World Showcase. Notice, it isn’t all that hidden – those are the kind I can find!

  1. I am in the boat along with you Barrie! My girls can spot a hidden mickey easily but me I never see them! I am happy that someone else is like me!

  2. Our last trip, we bought Steve’s hidden mickey book. Don’t feel bad, my mom is hidden mickey challenged, too, I have to point a lot out to her. I love looking for them when we go.

Barrie’s reply: Thanks Erin, that makes me feel better!
