Emma and I recently got the chance to visit the brand-new Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris and have had SO much fun exploring this new land.

We’ve been making our way to all of the rides, experiences, and restaurants that this new land has to offer. Of course, we had to stop by The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge in Disney Adventure World and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge is a table service restaurant serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and as you might have guessed, it offers a truly regal view.

You’ll find it in the new Adventure Way section of the park. It looks like a royal palace from the outside with a gorgeous view of the lake.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
Inside the restaurant, you’ll find murals of Disney Princesses that you won’t ever want to stop looking at.

You’ll even see ornamental plates inspired by the Princesses that were handmade by renowned Dutch porcelain crafter Royal Delft — oh, and they also make plates for the Dutch royal family!

Oh, and did we mention that you’ll get to meet princesses here, too?!

That’s right, this is a character meal. So it’s giving Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom a run for its money.

The restaurant officially opens on March 29th, but we got the chance to check it out early.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food & Drinks
Disney describes the menu of The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge as “international cuisine,” so let’s dive in! First up, we tried the Bluefin Tuna Tataki.

The bluefin itself wasn’t very fishy, which we appreciated. It was pretty mild, but nice and meaty. We really enjoyed the sesame seeds on top, which gave the dish a nice nuttiness. The dish as a whole was really straightforward.

The salad bed underneath added a nice crunch, but it was more plain and did not add much flavor. The mango streak on the side was the best thing about the dish, and it added to the flavor of the other parts perfectly.

Next, we tried the Gilthead Seabream. This entree was pretty good as well. The fish was very well-cooked, and it fell apart nicely. The skin was eye-catching, but it was crispy and didn’t offer any extra flavor.

We really liked the sauces that were on it. The sweet potato puree was sweet, smooth, and silky. The veggies on the fish were well-cooked. All in all, we really enjoyed the dish.

The Steak with Onion Confit was, unfortunately, the biggest letdown of the meal. The steak was almost more like a pot roast. It pulled apart like a pot roast, it was fatty like a pot roast, and they didn’t ask how we wanted it to be prepared.

It’s not that it wasn’t good, because it was good. It had a nice flavor. The problem is that this was not a good cut of meat for the price tag. It wasn’t great quality for a steak. The sweetness was almost cooked out of it, but it was still fine.

There was one single piece of broccolini on the side that was cooked but not seasoned. There was also a side of potatoes that tasted delicious. The sides were actually enjoyable, but despite the dish being fine overall, it still disappointed us with what you get for the price.

We were excited to try the Avocado and Ginger Mousse because it looked super interesting. The dish was very cold and super creamy. We didn’t really taste the ginger with this. What really stood out was the mango and avocado.

The mousse sat on top of the mango, and the mango was just so delicious. The dish had a good crunch to it. The sauce that came with it was super light. We would get this one again!

The Vanilla Ganache Mousse Cake was alright. The best part about this was the presentation — it’s so fascinating to look at. The shortbread cookie was fine; it was plain and crumbly.

The mousse underneath was light, airy, fluffy, and super chocolatey. The actual vanilla mousse itself was more on the bland side. It was more airy and fluffy, and less flavorful.

The book was a nice light chocolate. There was a nice tart raspberry that added a nice sweetness as well as some new texture elements. The treat was really tasty in the middle, but until that point, it was more bland.

Lastly, we tried the White Chocolate Mousse Cake. This is an eye-catching treat because it’s like a jelly-covered seashell. The mousse with this was both light and sweet. The shell was a thick white chocolate, which went really well with the dessert.

This was a pretty easy dessert to eat after the entrees, which is something we appreciate. It’s just not heavy! There are so many mousse desserts in Disneyland Paris, so this one doesn’t really stand out.

To drink, we got the Orchard Whisper Drink. This was sweet and fruity, but not overly sweet. It wasn’t sugary, just more fruity, which is different. There was a very slight flavor of wine, but it was barely detectable.

If you don’t like alcohol a lot, you’ll enjoy this. This was easy to sip on, like an elevated apple juice. We really enjoyed this and would totally get it again.

Lastly, we got the Floral Whisper Drink, which was a fine mocktail. We don’t feel like this is geared towards kids like most mocktails. Even though it didn’t have any non-alcoholic spirits, it had kind of a tea vibe more than anything. It wasn’t sweet at all; it was definitely on the bitter side. We were also expecting more floral notes, but we got a little bit.
