I Just Flew 30 Hours To Go On A Disney Cruise and These 3 Items Saved My Life

If you had told us we’d be flying all the way to Singapore to take a Disney Cruise ten years ago, we might have laughed in your face. And yet, here we are, and it’s happened!

We recently flew 30 hours to get to Singapore for the maiden voyage of the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Adventure. It was the longest flight we’ve ever taken, and let’s just say we are very glad we had prepared with some essentials before we boarded the plane. Now, we’re sharing those essentials with you.

When you’re taking long flights, the one thing that you need to do is get some rest. We know it’s hard, but having the right essentials can really help, starting with this Airplane Foot Hammock that you can just hang over your tray table and adjust the height to get your feet in a more comfortable position.

Raising your feet even a little bit can help so much with your comfort level in those tiny little seats, and this really helped our legs feel better while we were flying.

That brings us to the next thing that can help you sleep…a really good Travel Pillow. Forget those U-shaped pillows that seem to do more harm than good. This baby actually attaches to the headrest of your seat, so that when you’re in it, your head doesn’t bob around when you’re trying to get some sleep.

It also comes with a built-in sleep mask that you just put over your eyes, which also helps hold your head in place and blocks out any light.

Okay, so we’ve got a comfy pillow and a way to block out light, but you also need to block out noise because there is a lot of noise on an airplane, whether it be the noise from the airplane itself or other passengers. That’s why we swear by these Loop Quiet 2 Earplugs.

These earplugs do a great job of drowning out all the noise you’ll be subjected to on a flight, which will also help you get some much-needed rest.
