Sept 2024 - July 2026Contemporary - Bay Lake Tower : Disney ResortsBay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort In April of 2024, Disney confirmed that beginning in September, the Bay Lake Tower would begin the first major refurbishment in its history, lasting a full year.
Jan 6th, 2025 - May 3rd, 2026Frontierland : Magic KingdomBig Thunder Mountain Railroad According to Disney, Big Thunder Mountain will close for refurbishment on January 6th, 2025. The website says the attraction will “reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026.”
Early April 2025 - August 2027Port Orleans Riverside : Disney ResortsPort Orleans Riverside Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, guests may see or hear construction work in the area.
July 2025 - Late 2026Yacht Club : Disney ResortsYacht Club Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through late 2026.
Aug 4th - April 8thTomorrowland : Magic KingdomBuzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin The Tomorrowland attraction will temporarily close in August 2025 and is set to reopen sometime next year.

Sept 8th - TBABlizzard Beach : Water ParksBlizzard Beach Water Park This water park will be closed for a seasonal refurbishment; Typhoon Lagoon will be open for guests to experience.
Oct 2025 - May 2026Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village : Disney ResortsAnimal Kingdom Lodge: Kidani Village From October 2025 through May 2026, Guest rooms at Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will undergo refurbishment. During these times, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area. All amenities will remain available throughout the refurbishment.
Oct. 01 - TBAPolynesian : Disney ResortsPolynesian Village Resort Construction at the Polynesian Village Resort in 2026 will primarily focus on the new main entrance, with the project running through 2026 or into 2027. While the resort's pools and dining will remain open, the main entrance roadway and bus area are being reconfigured, which may cause construction noise and visual impacts, especially during daytime hours.
Oct 6th - Dec 12thAsia : Disney's Animal KingdomKali River Rapids Kali River Rapids will close for refurbishment on October 6th, 2025 and is scheduled to reopen in December 2025. The water ride typically undergoes scheduled maintenance early in the year, but Disney has moved the 2025 refurbishment earlier than usual. By completing the work in the fall, the attraction will be ready to operate ahead of the planned closure of DINOSAUR and the rest of DinoLand U.S.A. on February 2, 2026.
