We’ve been on the hunt for some of the most expensive EPCOT souvenirs over the years. From designer jewelry to a bedazzled Spaceship Earth, we thought we’d seen it all… until now.
Mitsukoshi Department Store is hidden in the back of the Japan Pavilion. They sell lots of imported Japanese snacks and drinks, plus merchandise including authentic Japanese clothing, home decor, and accessories. This arrival had our jaws on the floor!
This necklace at Mitsukoshi looks stunning. It’s a pearl necklace made with pearls straight from Japan. It’s designed by Mikimoto, Japan’s most popular luxury jewelry brand, and one of the world’s most luxurious brands.
Mikimoto discovered and pioneered cultured pearls, which are still used today. Mikimoto is known for its durability and high quality. They boast that their pearl jewelry will last a lifetime and can become heirlooms if properly cared for. We were expecting it to be a pretty penny, but maybe not 2 million pennies. This Mikimoto pearl necklace will set you back $21,000!
