The holiday season in Disney World means a lot of things — delicious seasonal snacks, and decor that makes you smile whenever you see it, but also high wait times and intense crowds, which leads to something else.

Those higher crowds also mean that Lightning Lane prices go through the ROOF since there are more people than usual wanting to skip the lines. The cost for Lightning Lane Multi Pass remains pretty high throughout the New Year’s Eve/Day seasons, but now we know when it’s dropping!
For those of you who are visiting Disney World at the beginning of January, slightly after New Year’s Day crowds, we’re now seeing that Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices drop beginning January 4th, 2026. Typically, the most expensive park for Lightning Lane Multi Pass is Magic Kingdom due to demand, and starting the 4th, it drops back down to $35.
That remains the same for a few days. Then it drops a bit more on January 8th to $29. On January 9th, it goes up to $32, but then prices drop again on January 10th to $27. After that, it remains at $29 for a few days.

Again, these are just the prices for Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom, but we’re seeing some drops (compared to holiday season prices) for Lightning Lane Multi Pass at the other parks, too! Lightning Lane Single Pass and Premier Pass prices also drop. Prices can be seen online through the My Disney Experience app.
It’s certainly a drop from the holiday season prices, which are below for you to compare:
