Big changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios very soon!

Muppets Courtyard is closing to make way for the new Monsters, Inc.-themed land, but we’re also getting some new attractions in the meantime! Two new shows are coming to the park — Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure are both opening on May 27th. And now, one of those options is showing for Lightning Lane Multi Pass!
Now, on the list of available Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences for Hollywood Studios, you’ll see The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure listed in the My Disney Experience app.

It’s not yet listed on the Tip Board, but we’ll likely be able to see it and its showtimes starting on opening day. Those who are within the 7-day booking window (staying at a Disney Resort) may be able to go ahead and reserve their Lightning Lanes for this show.

But when we checked the list, we noticed something important — at this time, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is NOT listed as a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction. It’s possible that Disney is expecting that show to be more popular and thus waiting to add it to the Lightning Lane system at a later date. The other live-action shows at Hollywood Studios all use Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but it’s also possible that the villains show will not get added at all in the future.

We’ll be interested to see how these shows operate and how popular they are when they open in a week. We’ll be there to cover all the excitement! For more updates on the changes coming to Disney World, check out our video below.
