Epic Universe is already a marvel in the theme park community, opening up possibilities we never even thought were, well, possible!

There are DRAGONS walking around Isle of Berk (and we COULD see some flying over the land potentially at some point in the future), an incredible circus show that took our breath away in Ministry of Magic, and some of the most gorgeous fountains and water features we’ve ever seen in Celestial Park — and that’s just naming a few. However, there’s one VERY common thing that could ruin your trip on a dime, and we need you to be aware of it.
Epic Universe is a pretty big park with five new lands filled with tons of thrilling, family-friendly, and mind blowing attractions. There’s a really common theme with a lot of these rides here that’s very important to keep in mind.

Similar to most theme parks, if there are storms in the area, it’s unsafe for outdoor attractions to run, for both the Team Members and the guests. So what if we told you that the ONLY indoor attractions/rides in the park are the following:
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Le Cirque Arcanus
- Harry Potter and the Battle at The Ministry
- The Untrainable Dragon
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Constellation Carousel

Yep, that means about HALF of the rides in the park are susceptible to rain and storms, and with a park that’s about to be as popular as we’re expecting this one to be, we have a feeling that won’t bode well.

Now, there’s SO much to do in Epic Universe beyond the rides and shows — there’s tons of dining to check out that we’ve been impressed by, gorgeous sights to take in, characters to meet (although outdoor meet and greets will also be unavailable during storms), and tons of merchandise to check out. But, we’ll be the first to admit that it would stink to spend so much money on your trip only to find you miss out on half the rides in the park due to weather.

Also, many times, the storms come in spurts, so it’s likely it won’t impact your entire day — just part of it.

Just in case, have those Plans B, C, and D in place and be ready to make the absolute most of your day that you can! We’re here to bring you all the latest Epic Universe news to help you make sure you have the best trip possible, so stay tuned to AllEars!
