A NEW Trend Is Taking Over Disney World…and 86% of Fans Are THRILLED About It

A LOT of changes are coming to Disney World. Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Dinoland, U.S.A. is going to be re-themed and renamed Pueblo Esperanza with an Encanto ride and an Indiana Jones ride.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a Monsters, Inc. land. Magic Kingdom is getting a Cars land. However, there are some new VILLAINS-themed things coming to the parks, too, including a brand new villains show in Hollywood Studios and an entire villains land in Magic Kingdom. So we had to ask AllEars followers, what do you think of this whole villains trend?

We turned to our Instagram to ask AllEars followers the following question: “How do you feel about VILLAINS taking over Disney World with the new show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the new land coming to Magic Kingdom?”

It seems that villains are VERY popular with our readers because a whopping 86 percent of you said that you love the idea and that you appreciate something new coming to the parks. That’s a LOT of you saying “yes” to villains in Disney World. However, 14 percent of you said “Nah, the parks don’t need to be scary.”

This makes sense because we’ve seen so many Disney World fans discussing a villains land for a very long time and wishing it would finally see the light of day. Now that it is, fans are thrilled (ourselves included). We don’t really even know much more than what the concept art for the land has shown us, but we do know where the new land will be located.

We DO have a few details about the new stage show featuring iconic Disney Villains that’s coming to Hollywood Studios in the summer of 2025. Sunset Showcase will be transformed into the “mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror” in a production that will feature appearances by Disney villains like Captain Hook, Maleficient, and Cruella de Vil. Disney teased that the villains will break through the mirror to take the stage for some wicked live production numbers.

We’re all excited about seeing more villains in the parks at times OTHER than Halloween and we think both Villains land and the Villains show are going to be a lot of fun.
