The time has come! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom is here and ready to go!

Since Splash Mountain closed in January 2023, we’ve been watching for every update, big and small. The new attraction is officially open as of June 28th, with two ways to ride – via Virtual Queue (which will open at 7AM and 1PM each day) or by booking a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass. But, if you can’t make it to Magic Kingdom anytime soon, there’s still a way for you to celebrate at home!
The FULL soundtrack for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom is available on Walt Disney Records across all streaming platforms!

The ride’s soundtrack features an all-new, original song called “Special Spice,” written, produced, and performed by Grammy winner PJ Morton, with vocals by Anika Noni Rose — the original voice of Princess Tiana and a Disney Legend.
In addition to “Special Spice,” you might also notice new renditions of familiar songs from The Princess and the Frog like “Gonna Take You There” and “Down in New Orleans.” Morton and Terence Blanchard worked together to compose these songs, which were recorded in New Orleans!

Disney also worked closely with New Orleans musicians and artists to breathe new life into these songs, including Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Tarriona “Tank” Ball, and more.
@disneyparks One thing about Tank Ball, she’s going to bring the vibes ?✨ #Disney #DisneyParks #DisneyWorld #TianasBayouAdventure #Tiana #MamaOdie #Bayou #Music

To ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you’ll need to join the Virtual Queue. Virtual queues can be accessed at 7AM (can be outside Magic Kingdom) and 1PM from inside Magic Kingdom. Both queues will be found via the My Disney Experience app.

Additionally, the ride will be available as a Lightning Lane on Genie+. To utilize this option, be sure to purchase Genie+ for Magic Kingdom or take advantage of the multi-park option. We expect Lightning Lane spots to fill up quickly for this ride at first, so we recommend booking this first as soon as reservations open at 7AM.

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
