You’ve got your flight plans, dining, and hotel reservations on lock, so let’s talk about something even more pressing — what you’re going to be wearing! There are a lot of options, so let’s figure out what your dress code is!
We previously looked at the unspoken dress code millennials are following at Disney World, so, naturally, it’s time to see what dress code Disney Dads are following!
For the first part of the quintessential Disney Dad fit, let’s talk about sun protection, specifically the shades.
We notice that a lot of Disney Dads are rocking their aviators like they just stepped off the set of Top Gun. We can’t blame them because they’re a good look.
Next, they can’t forget about their baseball caps.
While they don’t quite provide as much sun protection as a bucket hat, Disney Dads seem to agree that baseball caps are the choice du jour.
Next, let’s talk about the shorts. They’ve unanimously chosen to wear athletic shorts.
And why not? Could there be a better combination of form and function than a good pair of breathable shorts for the Florida heat?
Now, what do Disney Dads rock on their feet? Yup, you’re right — white New Balance sneakers!
We’re not knocking this choice. They’re definitely going to give Disney Dads all the support they could ever want that will get them through all the miles they walk at the parks.
Now, let’s talk about their shirts. Sometimes, it can feel like Disney Dads are getting a little help with their selections.
We’ve seen them wearing shirts that say, “My Favorite Disney Princess is My Wife” tees, or the whole family set where everyone’s is “Spoiled” and Dad’s says “Broke.” He’s gotta keep things real, right?
Listen, Disney Dads are troopers, and if they’re happy and comfortable with their park outfit, then they’re a winner in our books. While there might be some unspoken rules out there, the number one “rule” is that you need to love your own outfit.
