PHOTOS: The Constructions Walls are DOWN Around the Confectionery in Magic Kingdom!

We really miss the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom, which has been closed since March 29th.

Confectionery Closure Sign

The Main Street Confectionery is a fan-favorite sweets shop in Disney World that has left us wondering what Disney’s plans for it may be during the long refurbishment and whether it will reopen before the 50th anniversary celebration. Today there was SOME progress in the Confectionery’s makeover, and we have photos!

Up until today, this is what the Main Street Confectionery looked like in Magic Kingdom. Construction walls have covered the sweets shop since May 25th.

However, today the walls are finally down and we can see the beautiful building again!

The construction walls are down!

The Confectionery remains closed, and Disney World’s website still lists it as under refurbishment though November 18th (which is the last day the calendar is updated through), so it might be awhile before it officially reopens.

Goodbye, construction walls

We’re still happy to see the construction walls removed and Main Street, U.S.A. looking a bit brighter today. Even if the Confectionery doesn’t reopen soon, we’re one more step closer to sweet treats.

We’ll be watching this spot closely for any changes as well as on Disney World’s website.

We can’t wait for it to reopen!

Meanwhile, Disney continues to make progress on other construction areas around Disney World, so we’re eager to see what may reopen next. Keep reading All Ears for all your Disney World news and updates!
