Learn More About the Changes Coming SOON to Disney World’s Jungle Cruise

One of the most iconic — and punny — rides at Disney World is Jungle Cruise. Guests just can’t get enough of the slow boat ride filled with Dad jokes sure to make even the grumpiest of us laugh (and groan).

And this Magic Kingdom ride is getting a new update, with new characters, and a new storyline! Now, a few more details have been revealed.

One thing we DON’T like about ride updates is that the rides close to be refurbished and we can’t ride them for a while. But that’s not going to be the case with Jungle Cruise — it’s going to stay open WHILE Disney Imagineers make updates to it.

So how does that work exactly? According to Imagineer Zach Riddley, scenes throughout the ride will be updated in phases over the next few months.  This work will begin soon, so be sure to keep an eye out. Take a look at the concept art below!
