PHOTOS! A Hat-Wearing Plant Has Replaced Donald Duck on This Disney World Ride!

Last year, our dear feathered friend José took an unexpected leave of absence from Gran Fiesta Tour, the leisurely boat ride located in the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT.

José has since returned, but it appears that wouldn’t be the last time we would see a member of the Three Caballeros suddenly disappear!

During a recent visit to EPCOT, we noticed that a big star of the show, Donald Duck himself, has vanished from the concert scene at the end of the ride!

But, that’s not all, friends. Donald Duck was replaced by a plant wearing a sombrero (ah, yes, we could barely notice).

Disney went so far as to place a sombrero on the plant, suggesting that the Three Caballeros just found a new member of the band. If you ask us, it seems a little too “green” to headline such a big concert all of a sudden!

At this time we aren’t sure how long Donald Duck will be missing in action from Gran Fiesta Tour, but rest assured we’ll provide updates about his whereabouts!
