Did Disney Just Announce An Opening Date for This Epcot Attraction?

Update: Looks like Disney added this info a little early! The product page has since removed the detail of the ride’s opening date. We will let you know when we hear more about the opening timeframe for this attraction!

As part of the extensive Epcot transformation, a new Moana-themed walk-through attraction has been announced for the newly titled World Nature neighborhood, Journey of Water.

While we do know that we’ll be playing with magical water and learning about the H2O cycle, one important detail has eluded us thus far: an opening date. Well, we may have just gained a little new insight on that — but it came from a very unlikely source.

A limited supply of the attraction’s poster is now available on shopDisney, which is exciting in its own right! However, taking a peek at the description, we may have gotten a glimpse at when we can expect the attraction as well! Currently, the description lists that “Journey of Water inspired by Moana is scheduled to open at Epcot in 2021.”

Currently, construction at Disney World is halted during the park closure, which makes the subtle announcement of an opening date especially interesting through this format.

We will keep you updated as we hear more about the upcoming opening dates of some of the highly anticipated attractions coming for the Epcot transformation!
