We’ve spent thousands of hot days in the Disney World parks — no exaggeration.

During those ridiculous 95-degree days with absurd humidity and UV indexes that feel like they’ll melt your face, we’ve tested out some products that seriously help make you feel less miserable. Today, we’ve rounded up some of the best editor-approved park essentials for those blistering days in Disney World.
Starting the list, we have an item that I have personally tested in the parks — the Ventapak Backpack Spacer. This thing may look odd, but it works wonders if you’re carrying a large backpack.

It braces your backpack, creating a space for air to flow so that you don’t get that dreaded back sweat. Also, it helps distribute the weight of your bag more evenly, so you don’t have an achy back and shoulders at the end of the day. And it’s currently 10% off, so it’s the perfect time to grab it!
If you’re going to Disney World in the summer (or any time of year, really), you MUST bring a refillable water bottle. Seriously, it’s the best way to stay hydrated! Our favorite is the Owala Freesip, and they have a beautiful Disney Princess collection.

These bottles are well insulated, and the Freesip technology means you get both an open-pour spout to swig from and a straw to sip from all in one! Plus, the bottle’s lid can lock using the handle to keep the germs away!
Now, we’re not perfect, and there are many times when we make it partway through the day and realize we haven’t had enough water. That’s where Liquid IV comes in! This product helps rehydrate you A LOT.

It’s an electrolyte powder that goes directly in your water, and there are a few different flavors to choose from. Grab this for your next vacation, so you can be prepared to conquer the day ahead!
To beat the heat, you’re also going to need a serious sunscreen with a decent SPF (that sun is intense in Florida, y’all!). The Supergoop Play Everyday Sunscreen is one of our team’s favorites.

This one is SPF 50 and comes in an easy-to-pump container with enough supply to last you through your trip. It works for body and face, and easily absorbs, so it doesn’t leave a white cast.
A popular product when going to Disney in the summer is handheld fans. This adorable LACOVIA Mickey Mouse Misting Mini Fan is both themed to Disney World and utilitarian.

It’s rechargeable, has three speeds, and folds up easily for travel. Plus, it has a misting feature to cool you down further than a regular fan! You can choose from four different colors, so there’s one for everyone in the family without getting confused on whose fan is whose!
Last but not least, we’ve got another one I’ve tested out personally. This neck cooling tube is the perfect alternative for people who don’t like the soggy wetness of a cooling towel but want to keep their neck chilled throughout the day.

It can be a little challenging to re-cool it throughout the day, but it doesn’t sweat, and it’s nice and icy when applied. It lasts just about as long as a basic cooling towel would. There are six different colors to choose from, so everyone can be nice and cool on vacation!
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
