REVIEW: The $8 Snack I MUST EAT Every Time I’m in EPCOT

Disney World is well-known for the wide array of snacks available across the property. From iconic treats like Mickey Pretzels and DOLE Whip to more obscure and thematically appropriate treats, there’s something for everyone across property.

In particular, EPCOT is widely known for its variety of snack options, mainly thanks to all the international flavors available across the World Showcase. While some of these — like Norway’s School Bread, Italy’s Gelato, France’s pastries, and Japan’s shaved ice concoctions have become beloved, others — like my personal favorite — fly a bit under the radar.

The Germany Pavilion is home to several of our favorite EPCOT snacks, including gigantic pretzels and caramel popcorn, but my favorite can be found at Karamell-Küche.

For $7.79, you can find Mickey Werther’s Original Caramel Chocolate Cookie Sandwich, and it is delicious!

There’s a thick filling of Werther’s Original Caramel, salted caramel buttercream frosting with a sprinkle of sea salt sandwiched between two soft chocolate cookies shaped like Mickey’s face.

The salted buttercream melts in your mouth, while the Mickey cookie pieces are so soft and chewy, adding a perfect chocolate flavor.

Now, one thing about this sandwich? It tends to fall apart if it’s in the elements too long, especially in the Florida summer heat. Of course, I should note that in my personal experience, it doesn’t last long enough for that to become an issue.
