Listen, we love Disney World just as much as the next person, but let’s be real. Some of those in-park prices are wild.

We’re all about helping you get the most bang for your buck, which is why we’ve done the legwork to find some park essentials you can grab online before your trip. Trust us, your wallet will thank you. Let’s dive in.
FuelRod Portable Chargers
Okay, so here’s the deal with FuelRods. Yes, they’re super convenient when you’re at Disney World, and your phone’s about to die (because let’s face it, between mobile ordering, checking the My Disney Experience app constantly, and taking approximately 500 photos, your battery doesn’t stand a chance). But here’s what Disney won’t tell you: You can buy them ahead of time and save some serious cash.
The FuelRod Portable Charger Kit 2-Pack runs you about $44.99 online.

You’re getting two reusable chargers that come with all the cables and adapters you need for pretty much any device. The best part? Once you’ve got one, you can swap it out for a fully charged FuelRod at any kiosk throughout the parks. It’s genius, really.
If you want to level up, there’s the FuelRod MAX10 for around $74.99.

This bad boy comes pre-charged, has wireless charging capabilities, and packs a 10,000mAh capacity. That means you can charge multiple devices, and it’ll actually last. Plus, it’s MagSafe compatible, so if you’ve got a newer iPhone, it’ll stick right to the back. You can still swap it at those Gen. 2 kiosks when it runs low, making it perfect for those extra-long park days.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. At Disney World, you’re looking at $40 for the basic FuelRod Kit, $80 for the MAX10, and if you need an extra charging cable, that’ll be another $20, please. If you do the math, you’re already overpaying before you even get to the parks.
Rain Gear That Won’t Break the Bank
Florida weather is unpredictable at best and downright chaotic at worst. One minute it’s sunny, the next you’re caught in a torrential downpour that came out of nowhere. Don’t get stuck paying Disney prices for a poncho you’ll probably only use once.
The FROGG TOGGS Poncho is one of our absolute favorites, and it’s only $12.99.

Unlike those thin, plastic-y ponchos that make you feel like you’re wearing a trash bag (we’ve all been there), this one’s actually breathable. It comes in different colors, packs down small with its own little pouch, and won’t take up half your park bag. Honestly, it’s a lifesaver.
If you’re looking for an even more budget-friendly option, check out the Cosowe Rain Ponchos 2-Pack for $9.97.

Yep, you read that right. Two ponchos for under ten bucks. They’re made from eco-friendly EVA material, they’ve got adjustable hoods, and they’re totally reusable. Toss one in your bag, one in your partner’s bag, and you’re both set.
For comparison, Disney’s selling adult ponchos for $12.99 and kids’ ponchos for $10.99. So you’re basically paying the same amount for one poncho when you could get two online.
Beat the Heat (and Rain) with an Umbrella
Speaking of Florida weather, let’s talk umbrellas. The BAODINI Travel Mini Umbrella is clutch for both sun and rain, and it’s only $13.99.

It’s compact, comes with a case, and here’s the kicker — using one of these can drop the temperature underneath by 5-10 degrees. When it’s 95 degrees with 100% humidity, that’s not just nice, it’s necessary
Disney’s currently selling umbrellas for $17.99, so you’re saving a few bucks and getting the exact same functionality.
Sunscreen Shouldn’t Cost Your Life Savings
You already know you need sunscreen at Disney World. What you don’t need is to pay $13.99 for it in the parks when you can grab Sun Bum Original SPF 70 Sunscreen Body Lotion for $11.49 online.

This stuff smells amazing (like summer in a bottle), it’s water-resistant, reef-safe, and packed with Vitamin E. Plus, it’s SPF 70, so you’re getting solid protection without the markup.
Cooling Towels Are a Game Changer
If you’ve never used a cooling towel at the parks, you’re missing out. The Sukeen 4-Pack Cooling Towels are only $11.13, and they’re legitimately magical.

Just soak them, wring them out, snap them, and boom, instant cooling relief that lasts for up to three hours. They’re perfect for waiting in those brutal outdoor queues or cooling down after a ride.
Disney’s charging $22.99 for cooling towels, which is more than double what you’d pay online.
Don’t Forget the Kids’ Essentials
If you’re bringing little ones, you’re probably planning to get autographs and maybe some bubbles to keep them entertained. The Disney Mickey and Friends Deluxe Autograph Book with Pen is $9.98 online versus $12.99 at the parks.

It’s got Mickey and the gang on the cover with all four parks in the background, and it comes with a pen. Easy win.
And if you really want to be the hero parent, grab the Little Kids Disney Princess Moana Light and Sound Musical Bubble Wand for $20.

It lights up, plays music, and makes tons of bubbles. Your kids will lose their minds, and you’ll save anywhere from $15 to $20 since Disney’s charging between $34.99 and $39.99, depending on which character wand you get.
Look, we’re not saying don’t buy anything at Disney World. But when you can get the exact same stuff for less online and show up to the parks fully prepared? That’s just smart planning. Your future self (and your bank account) will definitely thank you.
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
