The FREE Activity We Never Skip at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts

There’s a lot we love about EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, but all the incredible artwork is a big part of it!

We love seeing what the artists themselves create, whether it’s with chalk art, the artwork on sale around the park, or with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. However, did you know there’s a way you can be part of creating a beautiful piece of artwork? It’s called the Paint-By-Numbers Mural, and it’s open to everyone for FREE!

The Paint-By-Numbers Mural is completely free (aka, it’s included with your park admission for the day and doesn’t cost anything extra), and you’ll find it open from 11 AM to 5 PM each day during the festival. It’s located in the Expression Section, which is located between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion.

To take part in this fun experience, all you have to do is walk up to the Cast Member manning the beginning of the experience, which is where you’ll pick out a container of paint that has a number on it — that’s the number you’ll be looking for on the mural! You’ll be directed to a specific section (if it’s not too busy, you may just be allowed to choose your own), where you’ll paint six squares that has the number on your paint container. Together, everyone will create a gorgeous mural, literally creating something out of nothing.

Once you complete painting your section, you’ll also get a bookmark that has the artwork of what the mural will look like when it’s complete! Depending on how quickly the mural is complete, EPCOT may also switch out the mural throughout the festival.
