If you have a trip planned to EPCOT coming up, you may want to be aware of some construction going on.
We’ve been going to EPCOT a lot recently, and we spotted some construction happening right outside the park’s gates. It may be small, but it’s definitely something to be aware of with how busy the park has been getting.

Construction has begun at the Moana lot on EPCOT’s Earth side of the parking lot. The Moana lot is one of the accessible lots at EPCOT that is closest to the park’s entrance.
It seems like the construction isn’t anything big, more like a resurfacing job. No one is currently parked in that area, so if you’re looking to park in accessible parking, a Cast Member will redirect you to the lot on the opposite side. If you need additional space for your vehicle due to ramps or mobility equipment, don’t forget to notify a Cast Member so they can park you with more space.
We’re not sure how long this resurfacing process will take, but it comes at an interesting time as we’re expecting EPCOT to get busier.
EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival has just begun on August 28th, and everyone is going to be coming out to the popular festival. The Festival has so much to offer, including tons of food and wine booths, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, Eat to the Beat, and more!
The festival even offers Halloween festivities Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, another one of EPCOT’s scavenger hunts. This Halloween-themed scavenger hunt will have you running around EPCOT looking for themed pumpkins. Once you find all the pumpkins, return your map and you’ll get a prize!
