Major changes are coming soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

DinoLand U.S.A. will permanently close to make way for a brand new land — aTropical Americas-themed land called Pueblo Esperanza featuring attractions from both Indiana Jones and Encanto. And now, we officially know when we’ll have to say goodbye to DinoLand.
Disney has announced that the final day to experience DINOSAUR, The Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, and Restaurantosaurus Lounge is February 1st, 2026.

We knew this day was coming sometime next year to make way for the Pueblo Esperanza changes, but we didn’t expect it to be so soon. This means that if you’re planning a final visit to DinoLand, you’ll want to do it before February rolls around — then it will be too late.

Pueblo Esperanza is set to open sometime in 2027, so there’s still plenty of time for more announcements. We’ll keep you updated with them all, so stay tuned!
