Something NEW Has Popped Up in Tomorrowland, and Stitch Fans Will Be SHOCKED

Today, June 6th, is a special day, especially in Disney World, but also all over the world.

It’s 626 Day, a.k.a. Stitch Day, aka the day we celebrate everything Lilo and Stitch. That means we’ll be eating a lot of blue Stitch-themed snacks in Disney World today and checking out some Stitch merchandise, as well as taking part in some Experiment 626 activities. Well, there’s one special 626 activity happening in Magic Kingdom you might not want to miss because it’s bringing some super rare characters.

There’s a Stitch Dance Party happening today in Tomorrowland, and, well, you just don’t know who you’ll get to see. Of course, Experiment 626 himself is there because this day wouldn’t exist without Stitch!

However, Stitch is being joined by some friends, and we’re talking some VERY rare characters. In fact, we got to see Dr. Hämsterviel up close and in the flesh (well, fur). If you’ll recall, we first saw Dr. Hämsterviel in Stitch! The Movie. He’s a ruthless conqueror, but he’s also undeniably adorable.

But those aren’t the only characters we got to see. Gantu also showed up for the party.

Although we didn’t see her, we were also told that Angel might put in an appearance today. Needless to say, if you’re a big Stitch fan, NOW is the time to visit Magic Kingdom to see these rare characters because we have no idea when they’ll turn up again.

Also, in case you missed it, Disney took the opportunity of 626 Day to announce a sequel to the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie. So there’s going to be even more Stitch on the way.
