REVIEW: Is This New EPCOT Snack a Game-Changer?

There’s nothing better than finding a new snack at Disney World, especially when it looks as fun as it tastes. This time, we headed over to EPCOT to try a refreshing treat that’s bringing some serious tropical vibes.

It’s cool, it’s fruity, and it just might be your new favorite way to beat the Florida heat. Let’s check it out!

The Kakamora Delight has landed at the outdoor vending cart near The Seas Pavilion and is available for $6.75. This cool treat features coconut-pineapple sorbet served in an actual coconut shell, making it as aesthetic as it is refreshing.

This treat is pre-made and served in a plastic container, making it easy for Cast Members to hand it off quickly. But the real standout is the coconut shell it comes in. It’s sturdy, surprisingly comfortable to hold, and adds an extra layer of island-inspired charm to the experience.

Inside, you’ll find a coconut-pineapple sorbet. The flavor leans heavily toward pineapple and gives off a slightly icier, more ice cream-like version of a Dole Whip. It’s cool, creamy, and definitely refreshing.

The sorbet is topped with a generous helping of coconut flakes, which add a distinct coconut flavor and a touch of texture that is slightly crisp and slightly chewy. Hidden throughout the sorbet are small chunks of candied pineapple, offering bursts of sweetness in every few bites.

We really enjoyed the novelty of eating this straight from the coconut shell — it felt fun and fitting for the setting. While we personally still prefer a classic Dole Whip, this is a solid alternative, especially for those who love coconut. If you’re a fan of tropical flavors and don’t mind a bit of texture from the coconut flakes, this might just be your new go-to treat.
