One of the biggest draws of visiting EPCOT is exploring all that the World Showcase has to offer.

One of our favorite things to do is grab a snack or a drink in one of the World Showcase Pavilions and then wander around and explore the atmosphere. One great way to do this is to check out the exhibits in the pavilions. And now, Disney has shared that an art exhibit in the American Adventure Pavilion is staying longer than originally anticipated!
Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, is a current exhibit on display inside the American Adventure Rotunda. These oil paintings, made by former U.S. President George W. Bush, feature more than 60 different veterans.

The exhibit was designed to be offered for a limited time, and was originally opened last summer. However, Disney has announced that it will be extended through spring 2026.

“I am grateful these portraits of our nation’s service members, painted by their former Commander-in-Chief, will continue to be available for guests to view at the American Adventure Pavilion at Disney’s EPCOT,” said Jason Galui, Director of Veterans and Military Families at the George W. Bush Institute. “Sharing veterans’ stories reminds all of us of their incredible courage, sacrifice, and resilience in defense of our nation – and of their continued contributions to our communities beyond their time in uniform.”

When we’ve visited the American Adventure, we’ve often spotted families walking around admiring the portraits, so it seems to be a fairly popular exhibit. There are also veteran letters on display for guests to read.

Also in the American Adventure building, you can visit the American Heritage Gallery. This exhibit is home to artwork, artifacts, and antiquities from Native American cultures.

We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop if we get any more news about World Showcase exhibits. To learn more about must-dos in EPCOT, check out the video below.
