REVIEW: We’re Pretty Sure This New Disney World Snack Is Made of Unicorns and Rainbows

Disney World’s new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, is debuting in Magic Kingdom on July 20th!

We can’t wait to see these gorgeous parade floats travel through Frontierland, into Liberty Square, and then right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.! To celebrate this new parade, a new popcorn mix is coming to Main Street Confectionery, and we got to check it out early!

Introducing the NEW Starlight Popcorn Mix from Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom. This is a “Star-Kissed mix” of bubble gum and blue raspberry candy popcorn, M&M’s milk chocolate candies, mini-marshmallows, and white chocolatey drizzle.

WHOA, BABY! This is SO sweet. The blue raspberry popcorn is a bit chewy and gets stuck in your teeth. We were actually impressed by the bubble gum popcorn, even though we were more skeptical of that. It’s very festive and, like all the other Confectionery popcorn treats, this would last you a while even when sharing — it’s a pretty solid amount of food for a snack!

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away debuts on July 20th, and of course, we will be bringing you along to experience this new parade. The parade will utilize the latest technology to bring the stores and characters you love to life. It is all happening at night, so expect lots of dazzling lights.

There will be floats themed to films such as Encanto, Frozen, Wish, Moana, Peter Pan, and more. There will also be a new custom music track to accompany the floats and parade performers.

This new parade will mark the first nighttime parade to debut at Disney World in several years. The Main Street Electrical Parade, Magic Kingdom Park’s long-running nighttime parade, officially ended its historic run at Disney World on October 9, 2016, and since then, we’ve been missing that extra nighttime entertainment!
