We Know Where Every Fan of EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion Will Be on March 15th

You’ll soon be able to experience one reopened ride since EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival began!

Now that EPCOT has had a few days to settle into its latest seasonal festival full of colorful character topiaries, fun scavenger hunts, and even more outdoor kitchens than ever before, there’s one thing you’ve NOT been able to experience during the festival so far. However, that’s all about to change soon as this iconic Disney World ride prepares to reopen.

Pretty soon you really will be able to see and experience ALL that EPCOT has to offer during a day at the park. It wasn’t too long ago that one of EPCOT’s most notable rides closed down for refurbishment, but we’re over here counting down the days until it returns.

Gran Fiesta Tour is just about ready to re-welcome visitors for a gentle boat ride around the Mexico pavilion. This classic ride features Donald Duck and his buddies Panchito and José Carioca, together known as The Three Caballeros,  as you float along through scenic destinations around the Mexican beaches, cities, nighttime festivals with fireworks, and more.

And, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Donald as he’s whisked away through each scene highlighting Mexico as José and Panchito search to find him in time to get ready for their upcoming concert!

Its reopening will mark the first time we’ll be able to experience this ride since the festival has started due to its closing in January for refurbishment. It’s also the sole attraction for the Mexico pavilion and the towering pyramid (with some great A/C if we might add)!

If you’re looking to catch a boat ride on its reopening day, you can head on over for a newly reopened Gran Fiesta Tour starting on March 15th! However, since it will be coming off of refurbishment, we highly recommend you anticipate a wait to ride as the excitement over its reopening has been building for several weeks. You know what they say, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” and we certainly have been missing our relaxing boat ride searching for Donald across Mexico!
