Who’s heading to Disney World in 2025? Raise those hands!
2025 is going to be a year of big changes, with some new additions as well as the start of some major construction projects in the parks. But before we can hit the parks and celebrate everything new to come, we’ve got to book those vacations! Except…there’s one problem.
If you’ve been trying to book a trip for next year, you may have noticed that not all of 2025 is yet open! Back in February, bookings opened for most of the year, but November and December remain unavailable.
Even now, when we’re less than 15 months out, November and December are still not open to be booked for 2025 trips. And many people online are scratching their heads and wondering why. We’ve even received messages from our readers asking us why this is the case.
When we did some research into the topic, we found a question on the PlanDisney website asking the same thing we’re wondering — why aren’t November and December 2025 bookings open yet, and when will they open? That question was posted back in May, and at the time, the panelist who answered didn’t have any additional details.
In the PlanDisney post, it was mentioned that bookings for the following year typically open in the late spring or early summer, so it was a pleasant surprise that we got to book through October 2025 so early this year. But now that we’re at the end of the summer and 2025 isn’t fully available, we’re a little confused.
Ultimately, those bookings WILL open at some point, although it may be later than travelers were hoping. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we see that availability pop up.
