There’s a NEW way to get around EPCOT.

There are plenty of ways to approach visiting EPCOT. Thrill-ride enthusiasts may build their days around E-Ticket attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Soarin’, while Disney history aficionados may hunt for the still-remaining pieces of the park’s EPCOT Center past and foodies may traverse the park looking for its best food and drink (especially during the International Food & Wine Festival). Now, Disney assembled a guide to the park expressly for another group: Families.
On a recent trip to the park, we noticed a brand-new guide being offered along with the park’s typical maps and festival passports: The EPCOT Fun for Families with Kids guide.

Adorned with images of DuckTales characters like Uncle Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby, the guide focuses on EPCOT experiences and offerings that are geared towards the whole family, especially kids.
The guide highlights several activities including:
- Kidcot Fun Stops, where kids can “participate in a fun discovery experience collecting activity cards at each country throughout World Showcase.”
- Disney DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, an interactive game starring the DuckTales characters that weaves through World Showcase.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt, a Food & Wine Festival offering that features a search for Remy statues throughout World Showcase, featuring prizes at the end.

In addition, the guide highlights all of the character meet & greet locations scattered throughout the park.
The guide also contains a full, hyper-stylized map of EPCOT, that’s geared completely to “family friendly” attractions including rides, shows, attractions, and play areas that are child-friendly.

If you’re heading to EPCOT as a family with young children anytime soon, we would definitely recommend picking up this new EPCOT Fun for Families to maximize the day’s enjoyment for the whole family.
