It's Official - Country Bear Jamboree Has Reopened With CHANGES in Disney World!

Disney World’s BIGGEST band is back!

After months of refurbishment, the Country Bears are officially back at the Magic Kingdom. However, this isn’t the classic Country Bear Jamboree. The original Magic Kingdom attraction has been completely reimagined!

The new Country Musical Jamboree officially reopened on July 17th, and people were HYPED!

The new show – – which we were able to see an exclusive preview of earlier this month – – is based around the“Opry-style shows of Nashville” according to Disney, and features the titular bears performing “reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music – like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly and other styles.”

There was a decent crowd for the reopening, but not as many people as we expected. Even so, both of the first two shows of the day were full.

Most of the same characters you know and love are still present in Grizzly Hall, including Melvin, Buff, and Max up on the wall! It wouldn’t be a show without them.

We love the new costumes for the bears, and you can tell that the technology has been updated a bit — the bears move more fluidly now. We definitely recommend checking it out!

And of course, some of the bears were even roaming Frontierland in their new outfits to celebrate the reopening of the show. How snazzy!
