BREAKING: Disney Announces NEW Entertainment Coming to EPCOT

Are you ready to party at Disney World? Then head over to EPCOT ASAP!

EPCOT is home to several seasonal festivals and great attractions, but it will also now be home to CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, which are slated to open on June 10th, 2024!  To celebrate the new festival hub, EPCOT is also introducing some new live entertainment!

Beginning June 10th, Latin bands will perform on the CommuniCore Plaza Stage!

These bands, including Latin groove band La Calle, will perform each night while the “¡Celebración Encanto!” Encanto sing-and-dance-along will be performed during the day. ¡Celebración Encanto! is scheduled to run from June 10th through September 6th and no official showtimes have been announced yet.

June 10th is bringing a ton of changes to not only EPCOT but all of Disney World!

In addition to the new acts, EPCOT is OFFICIALLY opening CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, a festival hub that will change the way we do festivals!

CommuniCore Hall is an indoor space described as the first “fully purpose-built structure in festival programming.” It will host many different experiences like cooking demonstrations, fine art galleries, kitchen and mixology demonstrations, and more.

CommuniCore Plaza is an outdoor space that will host all sorts of concerts, gardens, and shaded seating.

Also debuting on June 10th at Disney World is The Lion King 30th Anniversary celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The celebration will include a meet-and-greet with Timon and Rafiki, an animation experience based on the film, new photo opportunities, and themed merch and food.

June 10th will also see Joy from Inside Out debut for her meet-and-greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Pixar character recently stopped meeting guests at EPCOT, but will now meet fans at Hollywood Studios just in time for the premiere of Inside Out 2 on June 14th.
